Putting the “I” in Team

Deepen strengths, cohesion and culture building by understanding the needs of individual team members.

  • We’ve all heard the expression, “there is no ‘I’ in team”, but yet, effective teamwork happens because of the unique strengths, abilities and characteristics each individual brings to group situations and dynamics. Identifying our own needs and coming to better understand them can be an extremely effective management and team development tool.

  • New Teams, Teams in Transition, Team Building

  • We’re often taught to ignore our own needs and prioritise the needs of others. However, research shows that as we shift to focusing on understanding and learning how to communicate our own needs, we become better equipped to respond more effectively to situations.

Drawing on the principles of Abraham Maslow and elements of Positive Psychology, this workshop helps team members identify their own unique needs and learn how to effectively integrate them to others in order to build stronger, more cohesive team environments.

This workshop assists team members in recognizing their individual needs, understanding those of their peers, and acquiring strategies to blend them effectively, fostering stronger team cohesion.
